I’m a mentor at Modern Psych. My job entails providing support and guidance to individuals on their recovery journey. I focus on sharing the love of Christ and the hope of recovery, in addition to performing various duties to assist clients in regaining their mental and emotional well-being.
My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions and empower them to make positive changes in their lives
What inspired you to pursue the career you have today?
I was inspired to pursue my current career for two main reasons: the desire to provide hope to individuals struggling with addiction and the desire to serve Christ. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need, guiding them towards recovery while integrating my faith into my professional role.
What led you to work for the Modern Psych team?
My affiliations through the church and participation in 12-step recovery programs played a significant role in leading me to work for the Modern Psych team. Through my involvement, I became aware of the team’s strong reputation and impact in providing quality care to individuals in need, particularly in the area of addiction recovery. I was drawn to their 12-step approach to treatment and dedication to helping individuals find healing and hope.
How would you describe the company culture of Modern Psych?
I love the company culture at Modern Psych because it is characterized by compassion, dedication, and a commitment to excellence in client care. They prioritize open communication, teamwork, and continuous personal and professional growth to create a positive and nurturing environment for both clients and employees.
What is the most unique part about working for Modern Psych?
One of the most unique aspects of working for Modern Psych is the opportunity to give back and contribute to the well-being of others and make a positive impact.
What is your favorite part of your job?
The most gratifying aspect of my job is the opportunity to share hope and the love of Christ with those I work with. Witnessing the transformation and resilience that can arise when individuals embrace the hope and love offered through Christ is truly rewarding, and I am grateful to be a part of that journey.
