Diversion & Countermeasures Court Ordered Education Programs

Modern Psychiatry and Wellness is excited to offer education programs that are designed to provide individuals with necessary information while meeting the requirements of local misdemeanor courts.

Diversion programs allow defendants to be “diverted” from the traditional prosecution process if they meet specific conditions established by their court. These conditions frequently involve completion of treatment or an educational program. Modern Psychiatry and Wellness is offering court ordered screening to determine if treatment is needed by an individual or if an education program might best meet the identified need. The educational programs usually address offenses like open container violations, underage consumption, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft.
